The Project Support!

Donate now!

The project Alcohol Addiction Philosophy is a non-commercial initiative therefore we invite using any resources of the free of any charge. It’s my personal attempt to start a totally new research trend from scratch. I try to collect, analyze and adapt for every concerned one the latest achievements in the research of the alcohol addiction, and share my experience of overcoming it. Currently, this project is my personal initiative and it’s been financed from my own means. Meanwhile, working with the collected materials we see a huge potential in teamwork over this problem. Therefore, we invite everyone to become acquainted with our materials and use the suggested integrative approach in research and application activities.

We invite to cooperation everybody who understands the need to spread knowledge about alcohol addiction and the ways to overcome it, everybody who is interested in this project, who shares its mission and who wants to contribute some energy in the form of professional or financial assistance.

The money you can donate to the project will be spent on the site support and further development, on translations of some literature and my book fragments into English and Russian. We plan to create a comprehensive on-line base of the sources we’ve collected that could allow everyone concerned work with them efficiently. Also, I’d like to have some financial support for new researches of this. The creation of a comprehensive philosophic vision of the alcohol addiction also requires new means to travel to specialized libraries, participate in conferences and purchase new books and articles. In future, we plan to set up a special page on the site called Philosophic Consulting where I will help those affected with alcohol. In addition, we intend to initiate the establishment of the international association called Alcohol Addiction Philosophy, which will have a possibility to publish a journal, share experience and coordinate research programs.

You can make your donations by pressing the button on the bottom of the page or by any means we can negotiate. If you have any ideas and experience to implement them, please, contact me. I’ll be thankful for any help.

let’s first separate alcohol dependence from addiction

We continue what we wrote yesterday and speak about two ways to the reward system: a long one and a short one. However, let’s first separate alcohol dependence from addiction. Conceptually, the definition of alcohol abuse through the addiction shows the American tradition tendency that led to the exclusion of this definition of the alcohol dependence from DSM-5 system. The arguments of this position are clear to me. If there’s a dependence, from what, then?
